Maximising your potential

Friday, April 23rd, 2010

You can do more than just get your shiny gear and that is what will be discussed here. Ink and books and glyphs, oh my!

I have seen a few guides out there with detailed information on where to get the different herbs required to make the different inks, but few seem to mention that there is an easier way to level inscription if you already have a high level herbalist or that your character is a high level when deciding to level up herbalism and inscription. Instead of running around low level areas hunting for the herbs to level your inscription you can simply farm them in Northrend once your herbalism is near maxed! Being able to fly is also particularly helpful to speed up the time spent farming. If you have a friend with inscription at 350+ that would be great, but asking in trade for somebody to mill your herbs and make them into ink for you also works. This guide is not aimed at telling you which glyphs etc you should make while levelling, but rather how to speed up the levelling process by avoiding running around low level areas where possible. (Please read this through before you start as it may not be something you wish to do.)
